We flew up to Durango with Ian and Alyssa on Friday after school/work in the Lancair. Here we are enjoying the outside fireplace on the porch. Cold, crisp, a nice change from 113 F.
Cole Monk was up at his cabin. He was kind enough to drive us North of Silverton and drop us off for a one-way hike back to Cascade village. He ended up hiking the first 2 miles with us.
