Christmas 2009

We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas holiday here in Chandler and in Colorado. We missed having Jenni & Mason with us who were in Texas and Jordan who is serving a mission in the Czech Republic. They were greatly missed but that didn't keep us from having fun!

It is tradition to take a family picture in front of the tree.

Of course you always have to take more than one photo just to make sure you have a good one.

There was not a tree available in the city of Durango on the 23rd. So we had to take matters into our own hands and hike back in behind our place and find our own tree.

It didn't look so tall out in the middle of the forest, but when we got home we realized just how tall it was.

Everyone pitching in to help decorate the tree.

I guess we didn't open our eye's on 3. The temperature was about 19 degrees but the sun was shining and it made for a beautiful day of skiing.

Christmas Eve in front of the tree.

Christmas night we went to the ski resort and went tubing. For $5.00 you rent a tube and you can hike up and ride down the slopes as many times as you want. It was a great work out and lots of fun.

I wish we could have been there! That tree looks straight out of the forest. I like it.
