Christmas 2012

We are excited to have all of our immediate family with us up at our cabin this Christmas. Of course Ian is in Uruguay serving his mission but we are excited to visit with him on Christmas day via Skype.

Here is a view on Sunday afternoon from our porch. Beautiful

We flew up Friday after work. Benson loved pushing all the buttons on grandpas lap. He kept turning the altitude hold off on the autopilot but it goes back on easy enough.

We had a ugly Christmas sweater day at work. I borrowed mine from my moms closet. Pretty bad looking group at work that day.

Our cabin received over 32 inches of snow the week prior to our arrival so it took us 30 mins to clear the driveway using the skid steer and snowblower before we got the vehicles in the garage. Benson loves to watch grandpa use the tractor but so far doesn't want a ride.

For the last few years by the time we have got to Durango all of the Christmas trees were sold out. This year we got a good one at home depot for only $20.00. Popcorn and cranberry stringers looked great this year with the rest of the decorations.

We even got all of the kids to get a picture with Santa. Check out the happily engaged couple on the left.

Morgan and Jordan on the slopes. You can't wipe the grin off of either of them. We are excited to have Morgan with us for Christmas this year.

We enjoyed a sunday afternoon walk around the neighborhood. Cold but beautiful. Benson enjoyed having his own hiking pole.
