As I am known for, I only take Florence to the "Best Restaurants". Here we are on the evening of our 27th wedding anniversary dinning at the Maswik Cafeteria. We each ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo. We splurged with adding chicken to the dish. Oh, and a order of onion rings.
After dinner, we were able to go to the Bright Angel lookout and look at the beautiful canyon in the evening light
Here Florence is on the North Rim on the edge of the Coconino Lookout
Yes, there was that much snow at the top. We made it to the North side in 7 hours, 15 minutes.
Here is a picture of a Ice Waterfall that we had to hike around on the North Kaibab Trail. Florence went Rim 2 Rim 2 Rim in a record 14 hours 59 minutes. Wow.
Greg went Rim 2 Rim 2 Rim in a personal record of 15 hours 25 minutes.
Both have promised each other that we will never, ever, ever do Rim 2 Rim 2 Rim again, at least all in one day.
