Since Mason was supposed to go to Japan over spring break, Jenni had arranged to come over for a week to visit and to have a baby shower.
Mason and Jenni spent a whole day apartment shopping. They are thinking that they will just rent a 2 bedroom apartment for the first 6-12 months in Arizona, and then figure out where they want to settle down. .
Florence, with the help of many other friends and family, threw Jenni the most amazing baby shower. It was so much fun! After going to probably a good 20-30 baby showers in her lifetime, Jenni couldn't believe that it was finally the round one on the chair opening up gifts! The shower ended up being more like a reunion of family and friends that she had not seen in forever, some since the wedding! The gorgeous bouquet
Alyssa, Jenni and Florence
The cupcake queen herself!
High school friends!
Molly got married 9 months after Jenni, and here she is pregnant with her fourth. yes, 4th. She is amazing, and it was so fun to compare our bellies! She is 2 weeks ahead of me, but I think I look bigger...
It was so fun catching up with these two. Courtney just had identical twins 6 weeks before and I was thrilled that she brought the girls to the shower. They are adorable!! But why is it that newborn babies are starting to look bigger and bigger? I just can't imagine one of those fitting inside of me!
This lovely lady was a lifesaver. I wouldn't have any photos if it weren't for her stepping in as the official photographer. Thanks Jenny!
I had heard about all the gourmet food trucks in LA, and we tracked down a few that we wanted to try. Our favorite? The Grilled Cheese Truck.
We also stopped by the LA Temple to see the new visitor center. It was beautiful!
What made it even better was that the boys surprised us and came home from BYU for the weekend! It was so fun to be together. What a good looking bunch of guys we have!
This was Jenni and Mason's last planned visit to Arizona before the baby comes. The next time they will be in Arizona, they will be living here. Crazy! Time is flying by so fast.

Originally it was just supposed to be Jenni going to Arizona, while Mason partied it up in Japan. But, things changed, and we were happy to have him in Arizona. However, we had planned a girls getaway to LA, and we weren't about to let Mason ruin that for us. So he went to work for 3 days with my dad and learned all the ins and outs of the office while we had fun in LA. Our trip was filled with shopping, eating, shopping, and more shopping. My sister had found out there was a "Glee" concert in Hollywood while we would be in LA, so they went ahead and bought tickets. About 30 minutes before the concert, we found out that it wasn't a concert after all..but instead a panel where you could talk with all the stars?! I can't even describe how disappointed we were! They didn't even sing a single song, but we did see them all up close and personal, just not in the way we wanted. We are still laughing about it though...
