We had our whole family together for Christmas for the first time in three years. We flew up to Durango, CO. with the whole crew Tuesday after work and arrived to a winter wonderland. It didn't take us long to get our place decorated and filled with the spirit of Christmas.
This past summer we had a few bears hanging around our part of the woods and so here is Ian getting back to his American Indian roots out stalking the bear.
We arrived Tuesday night and it was snowing, it snowed all day Wednesday and most of the day Thursday. We received over two feet of snow in one 24 hour period. Florence received a quick lesson on the snow blower and went to work helping keep the driveway cleared.
Mason, Alyssa and Ian riding lift three up at Purgatory Ski Resort. A beautiful day of skiing with the sun shining.
Here is the family (Minus Jenni who is expecting our first grandchild and is not able to ski) at the top of lift 5. Mason, Alyssa, Florence, Greg, Ian & Jordan. Jordan has been on his mission the last two years and so this was his first time to board in three years. It took just a run or two before he was right back in the groove leading the pack.
Christmas Eve and Greg is leading our traditional activity of reading "The Littlest Angel"
and Ian is helping with the props.
Christmas morning we are out on our patio with the beautiful backdrop of the Needles Mtn. range. Grandma Jacque made Christmas pajama's for all the grandkids - guess the parents were not deserving.
