Above is what our room looked like. No phone. No TV. No AC. Twin beds. But it was perfect.

We went from Manarola to La Speiza on our first leg. Then a train change. We had a little under an hour to buy our tickets for the next two legs and get lunch. While lunch ended up great it almost killed us. We had to run with full packs on for a solid five minutes to just make our train. A little too close.

In Parma we had our next train change. No excitement here. The train was running a good twenty minutes behind schedule. Italy is no Switzerland on running on time. Above Florence is stretching her calves while waiting.

We got to Ancona Italy and caught a night ferry across the Adriatic sea. What better way than to move and sleep at the same time?

Here was our cabin. Tiny but we both slept well.

This picture was taken while standing in the hall.

Our hotel is right on the water of the Dalmatian coast. Lots of walking, exploring and we even went swimming. Tomorrow our first national park and some hiking and cycling. Fun.
