Then it was five hours of biking all over split including up split hill which is part of an enormous park that looks over the city.
There are so many different marinas and boats everywhere.
Here is a shot of the main harbor with a big passenger ferry just pulling out.

We even passed by a couple which we assuming we're taking bridal shots.
We found this little chapel part way up Split hill. During world war II people from the city came out here to hide from the bombs.
They even hollowed out this cave right above it.
We did find a boat we liked.
The zoo is at the top of Split hill. Rob Gould told us about it. He suggested we hike up. We instead rode the bikes up.

They have a mall here with good old McDonald's.

Ok, here is today's lunch.
This was Florence's dish. It's called Cuttlefish al Niro with risotto. Actually tasted pretty good.
Florence and I took the local bus back to downtown on our own tonight. Lots of back alleys to explore. Of course we had some gelato, and even found a cake shop and bought a couple of pieces that we ate on the city bus on the way back home.
We even ran into our guide Tino who was down there with his wife and two boys. It was fun to meet his family.
