We traveled from Dubrovnik North to Omis, a little town just south of Split. It was about 3 1/2 hours on the coastline road On the way we traveled through Bosnia Herzegovina. With all of the recent war there it was a unique experience.

At Omis we river rafted the Cetina river.

Tino our host on the right, Greg and Florence.

They even let us jump in the water and go through a set of rapids feet first on our own. Plus jumping from cliffs 25ft in height. Water was pretty cold but very refreshing. The bottom of the river is solid rock so the water was very clear and full of trout with no fishing allowed. A great time had by all!

Dinner was great as usual. Fried calamari and gnocchi with shrimp in a white sauce.

We skipped ice cream for the first time since we hit Europe.

We slipped into this old church and listened to the local choir practicing up in the loft in the back of the chapel.

And on the way back to our hotel we enjoyed watching the locals play some bachi ball. Quite the crowd there.
